Heartland recognizes the importance of a quality benefits package, not only to our associates, but their families as well. The healthcare landscape is evolving, and can appear to be a minefield of options to consumers. The Heartland Human Resources department works diligently to remain informed of legislative changes and their impact on our benefit offerings to ensure our associates and their dependents have the highest quality and most affordable options available to them.
During each Open Enrollment period—and various times throughout the plan year—Heartland organizes meetings and benefit fairs as an opportunity for our associates to educate themselves by speaking with our vendors directly. These face-to-face question and answer sessions empower our associates to make the best decisions regarding their families’ healthcare. That’s the Heartland way.
I have enjoyed working for Hibbs-Hallmark because we help people and provide them a valuable service. I also enjoy the people that work here and their genuine interest in serving others. Everyone is subject to having unforeseen losses at some point in their life, and we can help them survive those times. Insurance is a complicated matter and clients need help understanding it; they want someone they can trust.
Heartland is an absolutely wonderful place to work. All management teams/employees go out of their way to make you feel at home, and you feel as if you’ve known them for years. A lot of companies talk about the employees/employer and how it’s one big family. Heartland not only talks the talk, but they walk the walk when it comes to considering all employees as family.”
The amount of knowledge I have gained as well as the opportunity made available to me by Heartland is beyond compare to other jobs I have held in the past. It has been a true blessing to have the privilege to work for this organization.
It’s been such a blessing to work in a great family environment. Coming to work at our company brings new challenges and opportunities every day, and I consider it a privilege to be part of a team where the company culture makes even the tough days enjoyable.
I cannot possibly name all the reasons that I love working for this magnificent company, but a few of those are: the superb leadership, where management is always willing to take the time and listen to employee issues or concerns because they genuinely care about their employees; the positive work environment; and the great benefits they provide.
At Hibbs-Hallmark & Company (a division of Heartland Insurance Group), I have discovered a career full of “opportunities.” It is a joy to come to work every day for a company that breeds success for each employee by offering exceptional education, staffing, mentors, and caring leadership. Each day I experience the opportunity to learn; to impact the success of other businesses in our community; to build lasting relationships with co-workers, customers, and insurance representatives; to reach my personal financial goals; and to be associated with an organization that gives so much to the community and others across the world. I am grateful to my HSIG family for the opportunities!
Heartland provides an excellent working environment, with awesome benefits that include an onsite gym. The organization is very family and faith-oriented, providing recognition of your personal and business accomplishments. They are truly great people to work with!
I love working for Heartland because of the family environment. We are a family-minded company at every level.
Family-oriented, believes in work-life balance, encourages creativity, and empowering people to aspire, are only a few of the values held by Heartland
Security Insurance Group and its employees.
Working for this great company has not only been a privilege, but it has been a blessing, and I am so thankful to have been given this opportunity.
CAS has always been a caring company and made sure I received excellent care both in the hospital and during recovery that required some rehabilitation. The company and my co-workers demonstrated kindness in the extreme – driving me to and from rehab, making sure I had everything I needed, and allowing me a reduced work schedule until I was fully recovered. I am still humbled by the concern and caring demonstrated by the company and my co-workers.
As a Veteran and single mom I have very much enjoyed working for Heartland. In the last 2 years we have converted to working from home and at the time I did not grasp what that would really do for me as I lived about an hour and ten minutes from the office. I am able to take my daughter to and from school, have dinner cooked and ready at a normal time, as well as have lunch with her at school and attend school events. It has been a blessing to work for a fantastic company.
Heartland is an incredible place to work, for a number of reasons. I started as an intern and quickly began to notice the family-oriented atmosphere and kindness displayed to one another. I believe that stems from a strong foundation in management who are rooted in their faith and bring a positive influence into the work environment. Our staff goes out of their way to provide quality service and gain the trust of our customers every day. My decision to join the company full time was a no brainer. I am truly honored to be a part of such an outstanding organization.
I started at Heartland Security Insurance Group just before I graduated from Tyler Junior College. During my internship, I really appreciated the professional, yet warm and family-oriented work environment throughout the office. When my brief internship ended, I asked if I could stay and continue to work for HSIG. I was given a part time position until I graduated, after which I was presented with a wage-competitive offer to join Heartland as a full time employee. More than five years later, I still enjoy my time here at Heartland Security Insurance Group, and look forward to the new experiences and opportunities to come.
