*The Heartland Security Insurance Group holding company was formed in September of 2001. After the attacks on September 11th, a logo was adopted to memorialize
the tragic day. The red bars represent the Twin Towers bathed in the blood of innocent people; the three stars represent the three states where attacks occurred;
and the ghost outline of the United States represents people from across the nation coming together. On November 5, 2005 the stars were permanently lowered to "half mast," to represent the passing of our founder, Billy Hibbs.
